The English Carpenter was founded in 2008 by Master Carpenter Paul Collins.
Paul’s experience has been built in many forms including residential, commercial, and industrial construction in England & Wales, along with many home building & residential projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area, southern Ontario, and Cottage Country.
In addition to his home building & renovation expertise, Paul has also taken on a number of timber frame projects both in Ontario & British Columbia, as well as building log homes in New Zealand.
Fusing his skills from many countries & Canadian provinces, he has been able to develop a unique and innovative renovation experience for our clients.
Since those early days back in 2008, The English Carpenter has grown to offer:
- General contracting for renovations and new builds in the City of Toronto
- Remodeling for Toronto’s older & historic homes
- Timber frame construction
Even though carpentry has always been the main priority and love of the company, The English Carpenter also completes general contracting due to the high demand for this service.
We have since become one of Toronto’s trusted builders – taking our clients’ projects through from pre-construction to completion.
Along with our services, our team has grown as well to accommodate our diverse clientele – whether you are a private home owner, investor, architect, or engineer – our crew will be able to help bring your project to life.
